One of our deliverables for the Virtual Latrines project is to inspire a community of young entrepreneurs in Mozambique/Africa to think of other impactful solutions using Virtual Reality technology.  

We're very excited to announce that we'll be hosting a VR Hackathon in Maputo from 20th - 22nd of April. We've shortlisted 7 teams of students and (young) professionals that will work on their own ideas across different sectors, including 1 team on WASH. This is part of a bigger initiative with the same hackathon happening in 6 other African countries incl. Kenya and Nigeria. More info at: http://arvrafrica.com/
