Mr Max de Vriend - Aqua for All

Mr. Max de Vriend is an Investment Officer at Aqua for All. His role involves structuring blended finance transactions, conducting due diligence on private funds, and doing outreach in the market.

Before joining Aqua for All, Max worked at Triple Jump as Investment Associate in the team managing the Dutch Good Growth Fund, where he worked on a number of impact investments in the financial inclusion space across Africa and Asia. He also coordinated a joint Market Creation program with FMO, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, aimed at tackling investment barriers and unlocking more investment opportunities in emerging markets.

Max is an alumnus of the AMID programme (class of 2023) and holds dual master’s degrees: one in International Development from the Radboud University and one in Global Business and Sustainability from the Erasmus University.

Alongside his work at Aqua for All, Max volunteers in his local community as a handyman, loves to go for a trailrun, and experiments with making batches of kimchi for friends and family.
