Mr Leonard Obuna - Aqua for All

Leonard Obuna is the WASH Finance Manager for Kenya at Aqua for All, managing relationships with Financial Institutions in Kenya and Uganda.

Leonard obtained his Master’s in Business Administration and Bachelor’s degree in Education in Accounting at the University of Nairobi. Leonard is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA K).

Leonard started his career at National Bank of Kenya as a Credit analyst and held various Credit risk management positions including Relationship Manager, Credit Origination Manager and Head of Credit origination over a banking career spanning 12 years. Later, he joined USAID as a Business Advisory Services Provider (BASP) where he closely worked with Commercial banks and venture capitalists to catalyse Credit access for SMEs along the Agriculture value chain in East Africa.

Before joining Aqua for All, he served as the Portfolio Manager at Inkomoko; a social enterprise that promotes financial inclusion for SMEs in East Africa and Ethiopia where for a year, he helped catalyze lending toward refugee SMEs.
