Mr. Bacha Kitesa

Bacha Kitesa Dano is Programme Manager for East Africa at Aqua for All, leading initiatives to strengthen water and sanitation markets, support enterprises, expand access to finance, and scale sustainable, climate-resilient solutions. He has more than 14 years of experience in the water and sanitation sector, public health, market systems development, and programme management across Ethiopia and East Africa. Before joining Aqua for All, he served as Director of Market Systems Development and Business Development Lead at Population Services International (PSI) Ethiopia. He has contributed to programs funded by USAID, FCDO, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the European Union, CIFF, and Global Affairs Canada, and previously held roles with Plan International Ethiopia and World Vision Ethiopia.

His professional interests include market systems development, enterprise growth, market-led WASH and health services, research, and knowledge management. He holds a Master's Degree in Project Management and Public Health (MPH) and is a certified entrepreneurship trainer.
