Ms Titia Wouters - Aqua for All

Ms Titia Wouters is the Regional Programme Manager for West Africa at Aqua for All.  

With an academic degree in international relations, Titia Wouters started her career at the Dutch Enterprise Agency, supporting the countries of Central and Eastern Europe with their accession to the European Union. There, she was introduced to the water world. She worked for over 12 years in different management positions at Rijkswaterstaat (the agency responsible for the main waterway network in the Netherlands). She developed the international strategy and advised the Minister and State Secretary on international affairs. 

In late 2013, she joined IHE Delft Institute for Water Education as Programme Director of VIA Water, a programme which supported innovative solutions for urban water issues in Africa. In 2017, VIA Water was integrated into Aqua for All.  

Titia is now heading the integrated innovation programme at Aqua for All and working as Regional Programme Manager for West Africa.
